UK-based lyrical genius Akala has a handful of dates lined-up for this November, after a few months without live performances.
The rapper will perform live at the HMV Forum in London and the Anson Rooms in Bristol, as well as in Leicester’s O2 Academy alongside Billy Bragg and the Sound of Rum. More dates could be appear soon as nothing official has yet been confirmed.
Akala, a.k.a Kingslee Daley, is the younger brother of singer Ms. Dynamite, and has been rapping and writing tracks since 2004, when he was aged 20. He became the first rapper to ever headline his own concert in Vietnam in 2006, and has gone from strength to strength, becoming one of the most recognised and respected lyricists in the game. Voted ‘Best Hip-hop Artist’ in 2006, Akala is not an act to miss so if you love your hip-hop and grime, make sure you see Akala this November.
