Electric Callboy Continue To Tease 'Tanzneid' With New Single The Way You Are

Electric Callboy have shared a new single.
Fusing pop melodies with crushing deathcore, The Way You Are started as a catchy '90s boyband-style ballad before exploding into one of the German electronicore giants' heaviest songs to date. Head below to view the video, which goes from a cheesy pop dream to a gruesome horror scene. The band explained:
"'The Way You Are' started with a pretty simple idea: what if the sweetest late-'90s boy band love ballad suddenly turned into one of the heaviest songs we've ever written? We loved playing with that contrast, both musically and visually. The result is probably one of the most unexpected songs we've ever released, and definitely one of our favourites on TANZNEID."
The band introduced 'Tanzneid' in April, confirming its August 7 release through Century Media Records and sharing the single Hypercharged. It'll also include their previously released tracks Let The Good Times Roll featuring The Offspring, a cover version of Sum 41's classic Still Waiting, as well as Revery, Elevator Operator, RATATATA with Babymetal, and the title track.
Electric Callboy will take their ongoing Tanzneid World Tour to their own Escalation Fest in Berlin next week, where they'll perform the record live for the first time. They'll then head to Japan in August and Australia in September for their first shows in the region since their sold-out 2023 dates.
2027 will see them embark on a UK and European tour that includes arena shows in Dublin, Manchester, Nottingham, Bournemouth and Cardiff in January. Tickets are on sale now.
