King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard Share Title Track From Upcoming Album 'Alien Metal'

King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard have released the title track of their upcoming 28th studio album, 'Alien Metal'.
A euphoric mix of early '90s techno and rave that's built for a 4am festival field, the hypnotic track arrives with a Jason Galea-designed visualiser and follows lead single Level 5 in previewing the follow-up to last year's 'Phantom Island', due out through their p(doom) label this summer, though a release date has yet to be announced.
The album rollout continues ahead the prolific Melbourne band's sold-out Field Of Vision Festival in Buena Vista, Colorado, next month. They'll then play three headline shows at New York's Forest Hills Stadium, followed by a "rave show" at Brooklyn's Under The K Bridge Park with support from .VRIL.
Following that, they'll return Down Under in October for a new run of Australian dates, including a two-day Croxton Block Party curated by the band in Melbourne, and a late-night rave set in Sydney.
Tickets for their new Australian shows go on general sale at 12pm local time on Friday (July 31), while their US dates are on sale now.
