Madonna Set To Perform At Superbowl XLVI Halftime Show

American singing and song-writing legend Madonna has been revealed as one of the acts to perform at the iconic Super Bowl 2012 half-time show.
Seen as the ultimate showdown in American Football, the Super Bowl is a huge sporting event in the US and sees an average 111million viewers tuning in to watch it every year. One of the main aspects of the show, aside from the actual game, is the half-time show – traditionally, a big name musician (or a number of big name musicians) are asked to perform, making the Super Bowl one of the biggest entertainment events on the calendar.
And, lined-up to keep crowds happy at half-time in Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium next February will be ‘Like a Virgin’ singer Madonna, on the third time of asking. She was twice previously a target for NFL chiefs, but pulled-out last minute in 2000, after plans for her to perform in 1998 fell through.
Nothing official has been said from the NFL or Madonna yet, meaning more details should follow soon – US fans could even see the announcement of another act to join Madonna on stage. Stay with Stereoboard for further updates.
