New Singer-Songwriter Elsie Offers Free Download Of New Song 'Time To Go' - Listen Now

'Dakota' is the brand new cover from hotly-tipped singer-songwriter Elsie. An antidote to the over-produced vocoder pop swamping the charts, she’s championed by the likes of Jim Lowe (Stereophonics) who also produced the album, Par Westerlund (The Wanted, The Saturdays), Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith/ Foreigner) and Ian Barter (Amy Winehouse), Elsie has the songs, looks and attitude to make serious waves in 2012.

Elsie combines Blondie inspired disco rock, catchy guitar hooks and thumping beats with a distinctive vocal, due in part to a medical problem that left her vocal chords permanently scarred and which is set to be emulated by wannabe singers for years to come.

With lyrics that represent the new generation of alpha women around today, Elsie’s songs are about love, sex, bitchy girls, and occasional bad behaviour and she creates music that all young women can relate to, whether they are losing themselves on the dance floor of a club or singing along at a gig.

Elsie has received rave reviews from gigs at the prestigious The 100 Club and the Liverpool Echo Arena and her ballsy performances have also led to her being signed to independent label Big Print. Elsie is offering 'Time to Go' as a free download ahead of her debut single. Her album will be released in late spring of next year.
