The Straits Continue Their UK Tour Tonight, Friday 7th October, At York Barbican

Following The Straits' recent stunning debut show at the Royal Albert Hall in May 2011, original Dire Straits members Alan Clark and Chris White continue their UK tour as the recently formed band "The Straits" tonight, Friday 7th October, at the York Barbican.

Due to overwhelming demand from fans, The Straits will perform songs from Dire Straits' much loved catalogue of unforgettable songs, including 'Sultans of Swing', 'Money For Nothing', 'Romeo & Juliet', 'Brothers in Arms' and 'Private Investigations'.

The Straits' upcoming tour includes two original members and some of the top session players to form a powerful, driven, and compelling live rock band not to be missed. The Straits will perform songs from the classic albums 'Dire Straits', 'Communiqué', 'Making Movies', 'Love Over Gold', 'Brothers In Arms', and 'On Every Street'.

Oct 13th – Regent, Ipswich

Oct 16th – Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool
Oct 17th – O2 Apollo, Manchester
