Los Campesinos! Reveal Single and Album Release Dates - Plus Tour Info

Cardiff-based indie seven-piece Los Campesinos! have announced the release date for both their forthcoming albums and singles.

'Hello Sadness' is the name of Los Campesinos!'s first single to be taken from the album of the same name, which sees the light of day on Wichita on November 14th. The single will hit shelves a week after the album release on November 21st.

Gareth Campesinos! tells us more about the tune: “Hello Sadness is a song of longing, it's a hand that once held and felt, but now claws and grasps at your own chest. The impressions love leaves, the bleaching caused by someone else's light and what remains when they've left.”

The album itself constitutes another chapter in the Los Campesinos! story, and a turn of the corner. But this is a record that’s wiser and more focused than its predecessors, confident in its abilities and clear in its aims. Their most lean, direct, coherent, and simultaneously exhilarating collection of songs to date.

To celebrate the release the band will play three album launches across three continents (Europe, North America and Asia) and sandwich a small UK jaunt in-between:
