Dappy Arrested in Girlfriend Assault Investigation

N-Dubz’ Dappy was apparently arrested on Saturday morning after reports suggested he may have assaulted his 21 year-old girlfriend.

The star had apparently been at his girlfriend Kaye Vassell’s mother’s house on the morning of Saturday the 8th of October. Following an argument at around 8:59am, her mother called the police after she had apparently witnessed Dappy use violence against his partner.

After police arrived and took the man to custody, he was held for around 12 hours before being released without charge. His girlfriend did not require any hospital treatment.

A spokesman from the Metropolitan Police department described the events: “Police were called at 8.59am to an address in W6 to reports of a woman assaulted. Officers attended and arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of common assault. The 21-year-old victim did not require hospital treatment. No further action will be taken.”
