Friendly Fires Forced To Cancel Tonight & Tomorrow's Nottingham & Newcastle Tour Shows

Friendly Fires have been forced to cancel two further UK tour shows due to frontman Ed MacFarlane falling ill.

Friendly Fires were forced to cancel shows last week after Ed suffered a viral throat infection and doctor's order prohibited him from performing. The trio have now had to cancel their show tonight, November 14th, at Nottingham's Rock City as well as their show tomorrow at Newcastle's O2 Academy.

The band released a statement announcing the cancelled shows:

"With deep regret we are having to postpone our Nottingham and Newcastle shows this week as Ed's voice is still recovering from laryngitis. Again, sorry to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us. We are in the process of rescheduling these dates as soon as possible."

The band are set to continue their tour on Thursday 17th November at Manchester's O2 Apollo.
