Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher recently spent over £3,000 buying computer games and toys for himself it has been revealed.
According to the Daily Star the ex-Oasis star entered a toy store, and left with an expensive clutch of items including remote control cars, games consoles and toy helicopters. What’s worse is, none of it was his children – it was all for himself.
A source told the paper: “Liam left a toy store with loads of stuff and confessed: ‘I’m a big kid at heart, I enjoy boys’ toys, what can I say?’ He did say he’s planning to really treat his kids too though.”
Liam must either be going through some sort of mid-life crisis, or is just a big kid at heart – because he previously paid an artist to paint him a picture of kids cartoon character Spongebob Squarepants in the style of Andy Warhol – so he could hang it up between his heroes Elvis Presley and Jimi Hendrix. The star is apparently a big fan of the yellow sponge.
Beady Eye round of their UK tour in London tonight – if you want tickets, check out the details below.
