Come Spring 2012, Sir Bruce Forsyth will have been working in show business for 70 years. To celebrate the occasion, he will return to the London stage for the first time in more than a decade in a spectacular one-off performance of comedy and music at The Royal Albert Hall.
Speaking about the occasion, Bruce commented: “I can’t believe it’s been such a long time since I last did what I love best – working to a live theatre audience. It’s how I started and what I did for so many, many years. Television is great but for me as a performer nothing compares to a live theatre show.”
Bruce will be accompanied by an orchestra under the direction of Strictly Come Dancing’s Dave Arch and the show will feature songs from his critically acclaimed EMI album, 'These Are My Favourites'.
