Repeat Of Columbine Massacre Would Be On My Head, Says Tyler, The Creator

OFWGKTA’s Tyler, The Creator has once again talked about the Columbine High School Massacre of 1999, this time suggesting that if a similar event were to take place, he would be the one to blame for it.

The infamous incident, which saw two high school kids turn into killers and shoot dead a handful of students and teachers, shocked America over ten years ago – and the public to blame musicians and rappers such as Marilyn Manson, Eminem and Slipknot for the teens’ actions.

Tyler has been known to refer to the incident or the killers themselves regularly and even said earlier this year that he thought Eric and Dylan, the two Columbine killers, were “probably really cool people.”

He also admitted that one of his most controversial tracks, ‘Radicals’, could be taken as inspiration in the same way that Manson’s, Eminem’s or Slipknot’s could, and that the track could "get me in a lot of fucking heat with a lot of parents.”

“If Columbine is re-enacted or some shit, that's gonna be on my fucking head,” Tyler claimed. “Yeah, it'll be my fault, just like it was Em's and Marilyn's and fucking Slipknot's and all them motherfuckers.”

Interestingly, there was a shooting in Virginia Tech last night, the same school where another famous school shooting took place in 2007.
