Feeder Back With New Single And Album

Newport-based rockers Feeder have returned the scene once again with a brand new single and their 8th studio album on the way.

‘Borders’, the first new Feeder single since their Tsunami relief single ‘Side By Side’ back in March earlier this year, will hit shelves on January 9th next year. A classic and invigorating rock anthem dedicated to freedom and escape, ‘Borders’ is bolstered with Feeder’s trademarks; irrepressible choruses and huge tidal wave guitars.

The media and its critics have already taken to the new track, with rock giants Kerrang describing it as “titanic chorus after titanic chorus, the kings of the fist in the air anthem have always written good songs that you can identify from a mile off.” Rocksound consider them “Britain’s answer to the Foo Fighters.”

The single will be followed by ‘Generation Freakshow’, which comes out on March 26th. Not much is known about the new effort by the lads (they only announced the name yesterday!), but it does sound like they’ll be returning to their more raw and heavy original sound – something that will more than likely please fans.

Along with the name announcement, the band also revealed four tour dates they’ll be playing in support of the release of ‘Borders’, which will see them rocking out venues in Exeter, London, Coventry and Inverness. You can check the dates and details of these shows out below.

Feeder UK tour dates are as follows:

January 30th - Lemon Grove, Exeter
January 31st - Koko, London
February 2nd - Kasbah, Coventry
February 3rd - Ironworks, Inverness
