Feeder are a Welsh alternative rock band from Newport, consisting of founding member and frontman Grant Nicholas and long-time bassist Taka Hirose. They are best known for their UK Singles Chart Top Five track, Buck Rogers.
Formed in 1992, the band released their debut album, ‘Polythene’ in 1997, but it was their second album, ‘Yesterday Went Too Soon’, released in 1999, which saw them break into the UK Albums Chart Top Ten, reaching #8. The band gained more widespread attention with the release of ‘Echo Park’, in 2001, which hit #5 and followed that success with three more hit albums. The band released their latest album, ‘All Bright Electric’ in 2016. In 2017, the band released special editions of 'Generation Freakshow' and 'Renegades'.
