The Subways Announce April 2012 UK Tour

Following a successful Autumn UK tour, Indie-rockers The Subways have confirmed a new UK tour for April 2012.

Forming in 2003, The Subways have been tearing up the UK alternative scene ever since. They have garnered a cult following after putting on remarkable live shows – including Reading and Leeds festival performances so good they filled the second stage tent far beyond capacity, which resulted in the band earning main stage performances in subsequent years.

Their Autumn 2012 UK tour was their first UK trek since 2008, they will return to the live stage in April and May 2012 for seven live dates.

The Subways released their third studio album 'Money and Celebrity' on the 19th of September 2011. This new run of live shows will be the perfect opportunity for those fans who missed out on the Autumn tour to hear material from the latest album as well as older favourites. Support on the tour comes from Royal Republic and Turbowolf.

The Subways 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:

April 2012

Apr 27th – Belfast, Limelight
Apr 28th – Dublin, The Academy
Apr 29th – Cardiff, The Great Hall 2

May 2012

May 1st – Bournemouth, Old Fire Station
May 2nd - Coventry Kasbah
May 6th – Edinburgh, Liquid Room
May 8th – Manchester, HMV Ritz Manchester
May 10th – London, O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
