Van Halen To Begin US Tour In February & Details Of New Song 'Tattoo'

Rock legends Van Halen are to return next Tuesday 10th January with 'Tattoo', their first single from their anticipated new studio album.

Van Halen news website, www.vhnd.com, has revealed that the band's new single, 'Tattoo', as well as an accompanying music video, will be released on Tuesday 10th January with a US tour beginning as soon as next month, kicking-off in Louisville, Kentucky. A full list of tour dates for the first leg of shows should be revealed by the band very soon (anytime between now and when the tickets go on sale on 10th January).

Van Halen will be touring to celebrate their 40th anniversary and support their forthcoming album, the band's first offering of new material with David Lee Roth in 28 years. The new album has been given a release date of 7th February and there is still no official news on it's title.

In other news, Van Halen have invited journalists across New York to a concert at the Cafe Wha? in Greenwich Village this Thursday 5th January. Rumour has it that the band are going to perform a 45-minute show, previewing their brand new album.

Stay tuned to Stereoboard for more exclusive Van Halen tour details as and when they are officially announced.
