Grimes to Release New Album ‘Visions’ in March

Canadian solo artist Claire Boucher – aka Grimes – has announced the release of her new album ‘Visions’, which is due out on 12th March. The album is her fourth release in two years and is the follow-up to 2010’s ‘Halifaxa’. New single ‘Genesis’ can be listened to below.
Grimes will be touring the US and Canada throughout February and March before heading over to Europe for several festival appearances including London’s Field Day and Dublin’s Forbidden Fruit. See below for details.
Speaking about her music, Grimes said: “It is both an ethereal escape from, and a violent embrace of, my experience. The creative process is a quest for the ultimate sensual, mystical and cathartic experience and the vehicle for my psychic purging. ‘Visions’ was conceived in a period of self-imposed cloistering during which time I did not see daylight.”
