Cher Tour To Coincide With 2012 Album Release?

Californian pop icon Cher may be embarking on her first tour for over ten years this year, as well as releasing what would be her 27th full-length album, after a post she made on Twitter got the rumour mill in full motion.

Cher is one of the most successful female artists of all time, and, although she has performed many one-off performances – as well as completing a 200-night residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from 2008-2011 – she hasn’t been on a full solo tour since 2001.

So you can imagine that fans are frothing at the mouth after she replied to a Twitter follower who asked if her new record was finished by saying: “"God no,but it will b out this year, maybe to coincide with (X Our Fingers) Tour?”

She also teased fans about her album, with another fan asking ‘What kind of album can we expected?’, and Cher replying ‘My best yet?’

The album is set to feature two tracks from her feature length film ‘Burlesque’ - 'Welcome to Burlesque' and 'You Haven't Seen the Last of Me'.
