At The Drive In Reform For Coachella Festival 2012

Last night post-hardore group At the Drive-In put and end to their eleven-year hiatus announcing they are reforming for a show at Californian festival Coachella. In addition to At the Drive-In reforming, hardcore icons Refused also announced they are reuniting for a show at the festival that takes place in April.

There is no official news yet as to whether either band will make it over to the UK for some live shows, however, if you are yet to see the group live. Check out one of their many storming performances in the video clip below.

At The Drive-In announced their hiatus back in 2001 and revealed news of their reformation via a cryptic tweet on 9th January. The tweet read: "Attention! To whom it may concern: At The Drive-In will be breaking their 11 year silence. THIS STATION IS …NOW…OPERATIONAL."

At The Drive In are part of a mainly indie and pop line-up that also includes the likes of Pulp, Radiohead, The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys and many more. Check out the full Coachella 2012 line-up below.
