In other news, a special Judas Priest compilation album has been released. 'The Chosen Few', an album curated by the band's contemporaries in the music world, was created after each artist picked their own favourite Priest track with legends such as Ozzy Osbourne, James Hetfield, Alice Cooper, Joe Elliott, Slash, Lemmy, Kerry King and Corey Taylor giving their own unique spin on the very best of Judas Priest from 1977's 'Diamonds And Rust' through to 1990's 'Painkiller'.
Speaking about his cover of 'The Ripper', Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne reveals. “This has always been one of my favorite Judas Priest songs…. I just want to know what the fuck that note is that Rob Halford hits in the beginning of the song. Fucking hell!! That note is probably just below what only dogs can hear.”
'The Chosen Few' is available now after being released in October 2011.
