Sleigh Bells Announce UK Tour

American noise-pop duo Sleigh Bells have announced a four-date UK and Ireland tour for February and March, to coincide with the release of their second studio album ‘Reign of Terror’.

The tour will take the pair of musicians to Dublin’s Academy, Glasgow’s Oran Mor, London’s Electric Ballroom and Manchester’s Sound Control, where they’ll be showcasing and performing some of the 11 new tracks that’ll feature on ‘Reign of Terror’.

‘Reign of Terror’ officially hits shelves on February 21st, and is the follow up to their 2010 debut ‘Treats’. ‘Treats’ launched the band into the limelight in America, and gained them a decent following over here in the UK, with their singles ‘Kids’ and ‘Rill Rill’ featuring on Skins and Gossip Girl respectively. After performing at 2010’s Coachella and Primavera Sound Festivals, the band continued to tour until summer 2011.

They then began penning songs for their second album in June 2011, and have now finished work on the LP. Vocalist Alexis Krauss described the new album’s sound, saying “It sounds really huge, so there's going to still be tons of volume.” They’ve since released the first single from the album, ‘Born to Lose’, which you check out below.

If you’re a fan of the band, check the dates and details to the tour below and grab yourself a pair of the cheapest tickets available to you.

Sleigh Bells UK and Ireland tour dates are as follows:
