AC/DC To Work On New Material Following Band Member Recovery

Rock megastars AC/DC have revealed that as soon as one of their members recovers from a health issue, they’d like to record a brand new album.

Vocalist Brian Johnson appeared on radio show Cowhead a couple of days ago, and revealed that one unnamed member of the band was currently suffering from a health problem and was a ‘little sick’ – though he quickly added that he was getting better. He then went on to say that when he had recovered, they would hopefully start work on a follow-up to their 2008 comeback album ‘Black Ice’.

“One of the boys is a little sick and I can’t say anything, but he’s getting better,” Johnson explained to Cowhead. “He’s doing wonderful. Full recovery fully expected.”

He continued on to talk about their future plans, and said: “It’s a wonderful thing when we get in a room. Whenever the boys get back together, I get all excited. The boys, after a while, pick the guitars up, Phil [Rudd] will make his way to the drums, Cliff [Williams] will pull his bass out and then all of a sudden this noise comes out and I sit there with just this big old grin on my face.”

This means we could be seeing a new album in the near future – so stay with Stereoboard to keep updated with the band.
