The Enemy Announce New UK Tour Dates & Release New Single 'Gimme The Sign' As Free Download

Following the first play on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show at 7.30pm yesterday evening, The Enemy have released their new single ‘Gimme The Sign’ as a free download to fans through their Official Facebook Page and website.

Premičred at their homecoming gig in Coventry last Thursday night, ‘Gimme The Sign’ is a taste of what is to come from the bands new album ‘Streets In The Sky’ released this Spring. Produced by The Bronx’s Joby J. Ford, ‘Gimme The Sign’ is a huge anthem. Much heavier than The Enemy’s earlier sound whilst also leaning towards the anthemic sound of their first album ‘We’ll Live and Die in These Towns’.
 
To date, the band have sold over half a million tickets for their live gigs and along with their own headline dates and festival appearances, they have performed with the likes of Oasis, Kasabian, Manic Street Preachers and Stereophonics. The Enemy performed a homecoming show at S7VEN nightclub in Coventry last week to a packed out, ecstatic crowd who managed to get a ticket to the tiny 350 capacity gig (which sold out in seconds). They have just announced that they will also be performing four UK tour dates this May where they will be premičring further album tracks. The Enemy 2012 UK Tour Dates are as follows:
 
May 5th – Leeds, Live at Leeds
May 23rd – Manchester Academy
May 24th – London, Shepherds Bush Empire
May 25th – Glasgow, ABC
