Post-punk veterans Public Imagine Ltd have announced they'll play two intimate dates at London's Heaven this April, confirming the two shows for Sunday 1st April and Monday 2nd April.
Public Image Ltd, led by the notorious John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten, have also unveiled details of re-releasing their entire back catalogue later this year; to go alongside their brand new studio album they’ve been working on since their reformation in 2009. Commenting on the new album, Lydon explained: “I was always full of ideas, but I had to wait until I had enough money to release an album. Everybody thinks I made such a fortune with the Sex Pistols. Well, unfortunately that is not true, to make this record we had to tour extensively for two years.”
During the interview for BBC Radio 6, Lydon also revealed that PiL will release the vinyl only EP 'One Drop' on 21st April, followed by the new 12-track studio album 'This is PiL' on 28th May. 'This is PiL' will be the band's first studio album in twenty years.
