Marques Toliver Heads Out On Tour With Lianne La Havas

Marques Toliver is today confirmed as special guest for Lianne La Havas’ European tour this spring, including shows in the UK and Ireland.
Following the tour Marques will return to the studio where he is currently putting the finishing touches to his debut album. The full lists of shows with Lianne La Havas are as follows:
Mar 2nd Melkweg, Amsterdam, Holland
Mar 3rd - Tivoli de Helling, Utrecht, Holland

Mar 9th - 02 Academy 2, Oxford, UK
Mar 10th - Sugar Club, Dublin, Ireland
Mar 12th - Glee Club, Birmingham, UK

The tour will be Marques’ first of the year, following a 2011 spent largely on the road with the likes of Wild Beasts, Vetiver,Liam Finn and James Blake, and punctuated by a handful of full band London shows at St Giles in the Fields and The Tabernacle.
Marques released his debut EP 'Butterflies Are Not Free' in 2011. The four-song EP had been 24 years in the making, drawing on a South Daytona childhood soundtracked by Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder, and teenage years divided as much between classical music as Destiny's Child. Marques arrived in London via New York in 2009, the latest stop on a road lined with collaborations, recommendations and friendships forged with Adele, TV on the Radio, Grizzly Bear, Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, Bat For Lashes and Holly Miranda.
