Rap superstar 50 Cent has revealed to fans that he’ll be releasing his fifth studio album on July 2nd, three years after his last album ‘Before I Self Destruct’ hit shelves back in 2009.
Posting through Twitter, Fiddy revealed that he’d been hanging out with rap icon Eminem at a SXSW music conference, and that he’d be in touch with producer and rapper Dr Dre in regards to the album – with the star also promising fans that he ‘had some heat’ in store for them.
The ‘In Da Club’ artist wrote: “I kicked it with EM after the show i told him how I feel about my new album. I'm gonna get on the phone with DRE today about it. My album is coming out July 2. I got some heat trust me I'm ready.”
He added: “My birthdays july 6 so that's a cool date for ME. Its gonna be july2 album, july4 independence day, then july6 my birthday.”
