Casiokids Announce New Single 'Kaskaden' & Unveil Music Video - Watch Now

Having only just released their eagerly anticipated debut album ‘Aabenbaringen over Aaskammen’ in January, Norwegian synth-pop quartet Casiokids have announced that they’ll release their next single ‘Kaskaden’ on April 2nd.
Along with the single the band have announced a string of festival appearances and have also unveiled a new video to accompany the track, which has already become a live favourite amongst fans. ‘Kaskaden’ is four minutes of bubbling synths and features the dynamic percussion which Casiokids have become known for.
Produced and directed by Finnish-Colombian-Norwegian collective Blank Blank, and choreographed by Dutch contemporary dancer Marjolein Vogels, the video is a film-intro style dance piece and accompanies ‘Kaskaden’ brilliantly. Inspired by old Kung Fu film intros, 80s Hollywood productions and local Norwegian films they ended up with the concept 'Utfall!' - which loosely translated means attack, outcome, result. Hailing from the celebrated music scene in Bergen, Norway, Casiokids have spent the last 12 months playing shows across North America, Europe, Mexico, Japan and Russia – and were even hand-picked by fellow Norwegians A-Ha to support them on their last tour.
