Soundgarden Tickets For London Hard Rock Calling Concert ONSALE 9AM TODAY

Grunge legends Soundgarden have completed the Hard Rock Calling headline line-up, opening the three-day live music extravaganza at London's Hyde Park on Friday 13th July. Also performing headline sets at Hard Rock Calling that weekend is Bruce Springsteen and Paul Simon. Soundgarden Tickets are ONSALE 9AM TODAY, Friday 30th March.

The band, fronted by Chris Cornell, recently teased fans with a 30-second snippet of their brand new song 'Live To Rise'. The track is Soundgarden's first new song in 15 years, written after their reunion, and will feature in the up-and-coming blockbuster movie 'The Avengers'. 'Live to Rise' is included on 'Avengers Assemble', a 14-track compilation of music from and inspired by the film. 'Avengers Assemble' will be released on Monday 23rd April.

Soundgarden stated: "We've been hard at work on our new album, which will come out this Fall. When the opportunity arose to write an original song for 'Marvel's The Avengers' film, we thought it could be a cool match. We are excited to release our new song 'Live To Rise,' which is also the only new song in the film. Here's a taste. Loudest of Love."



Soundgarden are to make their anticipated UK return at Donington's Download Festival this Summer, supporting headliners Black Sabbath on Sunday 10th June.

Soundgarden 2012 UK Live Dates are as follows:

June 10th – Download Festival Donington
July 13th – Hard Rock Calling, Hyde Park, London
