Green Day Confirm Three European Summer Shows - UK Tour Dates To Follow?

Pop-punk rockers Green Day have confirmed they will be performing live in Europe this Summer, announcing three headline shows in Germany.

Green Day have announced they will perform at Munchengladbach's Hockey Park on 29th August, Berlin's Wuhkheide on 30th August as well as a date at Rock Am See Festival in Konstanz on 31st August. British fans are still waiting for the announcement of some UK dates, however, Green Day's growing live schedule in Europe surely means that their UK visit isn’t far away.

US punk-rockers Green Day have unveiled a new video capturing themselves hard at work on their brand new ninth studio album. The new album, which produced by Rob Cavallo and is currently untitled, will be the follow-up to 2009's '21st Century Breakdown'. Green Day have been releasing short clips documenting the recording progress, with this new 30-second video capturing frontman Billie Joe Armstrong recording vocals and playing guitar.



Speaking about the new material, Billie Joe commented: “Y’know, I think this is so personal, and it’s so voyeuristic – and it is - I think this is the first time we’ve ever really sung about fucking.”

Green Day's critically-acclaimed ‘American Idiot’ musical will be making its way to the UK this Autumn.
