Brighton-based duo Rizzle Kicks have paid homage to reggae superstar Bob Marley this week – and have made a special cameo in the conceptual TV ad for the release of his definitive album‘Legend’.
Rizzle Kicks joined critically acclaimed graffiti artist Alex Young on the set of the conceptual TV ad shoot as he was filmed creating a giant mural of musical legend Bob Marley in a London warehouse over the space of 10 hours. A time-lapse film will be created from the footage of Alex at work, as the 12 foot Bob Marley creation is brought to life over the course of the day.
Bearing witness to the remarkable talent and creation of the Bob Marley masterpiece, Rizzle Kicks paid their respects to one of history’s greatest musical talent – showing their huge love and admiration for Bob Marley.
They say: “Bob Marley is a legend and has influenced countless brilliant artists. We both grew up listening to his music, he definitely inspired and encouraged us to be the artists we’ve become today.”
In more good news for Rizzle Kicks fans, the duo have released their brand new video for the track 'Even on a Rainy Day', which features clips from the band's notoriously-lively gigs. You can watch the video below.
