Michael Kiwanuka Unveils Video For New Single 'I'll Get Along' - Watch Now

Michael Kiwanuka has this morning unveiled the video for his brand new single ‘I’ll Get Along'. 'I'll Get Along' is released on the 28th May and is taken from his debut album, ‘Home Again’, out now through Polydor/Communion Records.

Since the turn of the year, Michael Kiwanuka has experienced a very productive start to 2012. Voted the BBC’s Sound of 2012 poll winner in January, Michael’s critically acclaimed debut album, 'Home Again', debuted at Number Four in the UK chart in March. He completed a fully sold-out tour of the UK with his six-piece band in February, which was followed by a spate of sold-out European shows and a series of wonderfully received shows at SXSW in Austin, Texas.

Despite a hectic touring schedule that has seen Michael grow a wide-spread, ever-fluctuating fanbase wherever the tour bus takes him, he managed to spend the day at Ray Davies’ Konk Studios with The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach behind the desk to record a new track, 'Lasan'. The recording became an instant blog hit, and has quickly become a new live favourite a matter of weeks after committing it to tape.

Ahead of his biggest headline shows to date, which include a sold-out show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire, Michael releases a new single, 'I’ll Get Along', and further stakes his claim as one of the most distinctive young talents to come out of Britain in years.

Few records have made such an instant impression as 'Home Again'. Immersing the listener in a sound that is both modern and at the same time as familiar as the classics, it manages to strike the balance between being contemporary and somehow utterly timeless.
