Cheryl Cole: 'Lana Del Rey Is Super Talented'

Geordie star Cheryl Cole has revealed that she is a major fan of indie-pop singer Lana Del Rey – and confessed that she 'fell in love' with the star after hearing her hit 'Video Games'.

ImageCole has since tapped up the singer and will be working with Del Rey on her up and coming album 'A Million Lights', and has now revealed how she came about finding the star before she became an international hit.

Speaking to Capital FM, Cole said: “I noticed Lana about a year ago. I was hearing these songs that were really fresh to my ear and amazing and I asked the guy who she was and he said, 'Watch out for her, it's a girl called Lana Del Rey'.”

She continued on to talk about their resulting collaboration, and said: “It all happened really organically just like that. And then 'Video Games' came out and I fell in love with her as an artist as well, so yeah, she's super talented.”
