Dio Disciples Announce London Show At Islington Academy

Former members of the band Dio, James Lomenzo (bass), Simon Wright (drums), Craig Goldy (guitar) and Scott Warren (keyboards), are to unite again as one band alongside singers Tim "Ripper" Owens (Yngwie Malmsteen, Beyond Fear, Judas Priest, Iced Earth) and Toby Jepson (Little Angels, Gun) to play a UK shows under the banner of Dio Disciples.

Reliving Dio's glory moments in a nostalgic and emotional tribute, Dio Disciples will perform at London's Islington Academy on Monday 6th August.

Wendy Dio, Ronnie's widow, who actually announced the band, has said: “There will never be another Ronnie but we want to keep his music alive and hope you will support the band and become one of the Dio Disciples.”
