Hotly tipped US band Walk The Moon have made their debut track 'Tightrope' available as a free download, available now.
Taken from their critically-acclaimed self-titled album which entered the US album charts in the Top 40 last week – which has been produced by Ben H. Allen (Gnarls Barkley, Animal Collective) and is set for release in the UK in autumn – 'Tightrope' is a synth-heavy, frenetic introduction to the band as thunderous percussion intertwines with guitar swirls and a sing-a-long, infectious chorus line.
The band play their debut UK show tomorrow, Friday 6th July, at a Club NME show at KOKO in London.
Named one of MTV’s Artists to Watch for 2012, Walk The Moon have already performed on MTVU’s first ever “Woodies Tour”, capturing the attention of fans and critics alike with their colourful and energetic live performances. They also toured the US this year supporting Young the Giant and Kaiser Chiefs as well as performing at this year’s SxSW festival.NOTE FROM THE EDITOR We don't run any advertising!
