Two Door Cinema Club Announce Biggest Show To Date At London's Alexandra Palace & Tickets

Kev, Sam and Alex's second album 'Beacon' is out today, and with this news they announce their biggest UK show ever at London's Alexandra Palace! After selling our their January and February 2013 UK tour in less than a day (Brixton Academy sold out in 2 minutes!), they've put Alexandra Palace in the diary for Saturday 27th April. Two Door Cinema Club Tickets for their new London date are on sale from 9am on Friday 7th September.
The band have also added extra dates to their extensive January and February UK headline tour due to popular demand. They will play an extra show at the Manchester Apollo on Saturday 26th January and then at Birmingham's O2 Academy on Friday 1st February.
After putting their UK tour on sale last Friday, 31st August, the band sold over 25,000 tickets in under four hours, selling out the 5000 capacity Brixton Academy in London in two minutes and the 3000 capacity Birmingham O2 Academy in under an hour.
This week the band are set to play four sold out intimate 'Beacon' album launch shows in Birmingham, Manchester, London and Dublin before heading to Bestival this Saturday to play on the main stage as the sun sets.
Tonight the band play an acoustic set at London's HMV Oxford Street, followed by a signing session for 400 fans. There are signings confirmed for Birmingham and Manchester on Tuesday and Wednesday too. Details here.
