Psychedelic pop outfit Yeasayer have announced the postponement of their September 2012 European tour.
Yeasayer were touring in support of their current album 'Fragrant World', which was released on 20th August on Mute, the follow-up to 2010’s crossover hit 'Odd Blood'. The band issued the following statement, announcing the postponement:
"Hello Europe,
Due to family reasons we have to postpone our September 2012 European tour. Everyone is fine, and we are regrouping and trying to reschedule for the end of Nov/ beginning of Dec. We promise to make our way across the Atlantic in support of Fragrant World. We appreciate your understanding and we promise to make this up to you!

A full UK tour was announced for September, calling at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on the 27th. Ticket-holders should keep hold of any purchased tickets, as tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled shows.
