Dehasse Unveils 'Harder Than You Think' Remix - Listen Now

Up and coming producer Dëhasse has remixed the official London 2012 Paralympic Games theme tune by Public Enemy ‘Harder Than You Think’ - you can check it out below.

Channel 4 televised the entire 11 day coverage of the Paralympics to a global audience reaching a historic high of some 4 billion viewers. ‘Harder Than You Think’ was featured on a major National TV sync campaign throughout the 2012 London Olympic Games.

‘Harder Than You Think’ re-entered the UK single charts at #11 last month and peaked at the #4 position - becoming Public Enemy's first Top 10 single in the UK in their 25 year career, their 10th Top 40 hit, and arriving almost 15 years after their last one, ‘He Got Game’. It follows a long succession of impactful and iconic Public Enemy songs, such as ‘Bring the Noise’, 'Rebel Without a Pause' and ‘Fight the Power’, which was rated #1 in VH1’s ‘100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs’ as well as millions of records sold worldwide. ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine ranked Public Enemy #44 in their ‘100 Greatest Artists of All Time’.

The official remix is now available alongside a new radio edit, currently available on itunes. Dëhasse comments: “To remix the official Paralympics Olympic theme song has been an absolute honour. I grew up listening to Public Enemy also and I’m a huge fan! There was a lot of talk about legacy of the Games and its awesome that Dëhasse will be in some way part of the legacy of these wonderful memories.”

As one of Europe’s top emerging DJ/producers, Dëhasse can now add his remix of Public Enemy’s ‘Harder Than You Think’ to an impressive discography, (Princess Nyah, Jodie Connor and Tinchy Stryder, Natalia Kills and the UK top ten classic anthem by E’voke ‘Arms of Loren’). Dëhasse has also recently collaborated with Ice T on his own project which will be released later this year, as well as numerous remixes with talents such as Mika Newton, who is signed to Randy Jackson’s Dream Merchant 21 label.

You can check out the remix below.
