Naughty Boy Releases 'Hotel Cabana' Album Trailer Feat. Professor Green, Tinie Tempah & More

Naught Boy has revealed that the collaborators on his upcoming album ‘Hotel Cabana’ include Professor Green, Tinie Tempah, Gabrielle and George the Poet with more to be confirmed! The trailer for ‘Hotel Cabana’, starring and narrated by George the Poet, can be seen below.

In just four years, British producer, songwriter and creative visionary Naughty Boy, has experienced an incredible career trajectory. From a tiny shed in Watford to his own state-of-the-art studio in Ealing, Shahid Khan has crafted compositions for everyone from Tinie Tempah, Wiley and Professor Green to Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis and Emeli Sandé. The latter’s debut album ‘Our Version Of Events’, largely produced by Naughty, shot to Number 1 earlier this year and is the biggest selling new album of the year so far. The cool master conductor has reintroduced the charts to the sound of ska, edgy urban beats and trip hop as well as uplifting, thought-provoking tunes rich with emotion, grandeur and drama.

Eighteen months in the making, Naughty Boy’s debut album transcends music alone - it’s a concept, a world, a story: 'Hotel Cabana'. The conceptual album features a stellar cast of urban and pop superstars, launching with Emeli Sandé with many more to be revealed, each playing a character in this filmic narrative; “I want it to be an album for our time; it has a concept to it, so it’s more like a film in some respects,” says Naughty, “I view it like I’m not just a producer – I’m a director too”.

Noname - Room 25 (Album Review)
Mon 17 Sep 2018
You get the impression Noname still doesn't realise how immensely likeable she is – both as an artist and a human. There was much about the Chicago rapper's 2016 mixtape 'Telefone' that was impressive in a conventional sense, whether it was her smooth, jazz-inflected flows, impeccable taste in neo-soul production or ability to create crystal-clear imagery. But what listeners connected with most was her magnetic personality. More specifically, they bought into her compassionate worldview and propensity to derive hope from the bleakest of topics or circumstances.

Brockhampton - Iridescence (Album Review)
Wed 26 Sep 2018
With their inclusive ethos, motivational lyricism and taste for avant-garde pop production, Brockhampton have proved over the past year and half that they're the hip hop collective OFWGKTA should have been. That comparison might seem trite from an artistic perspective, but it fits because of the impact both groups have had on a predominantly young audience. But where OFWGKTA had a misanthropic streak, Brockhampton's messaging is more wholesome and empowering.
