My Preserver Announce Autumn UK Tour

Recently named by Kerrang! as “One of the most exciting – and important – new British bands to emerge this year”, My Preserver have just announced their Autumn UK tour and the release of a new single 'Terrorist' this October.

Formed back in 2010, London rock outfit My Preserver are a rapidly rising star in the music world. 2012 saw My Preserver’s first official release with the debut single ‘King Jesus’, released on the band’s own imprint, Eight Calls East Records.

The single quickly picked up the ears of Kerrang! magazine who requested the band for a photoshoot and ran a full page feature declaring the group “One of the most exciting – and important – new British bands to emerge this year”. Meanwhile the track hit the airwaves on XFM, Kerrang! Radio and BBC Introducing.

With the demand created around the single release of ‘King Jesus’ and the anthemic follow up ‘You Know Something That I Don’t Know’ a headline UK tour was quickly booked in, followed by a Rock Sound magazine feature and a track on the publication’s cover-mount CD in August 2012.

The anticipation continues to build around My Preserver’s debut album ‘Revolutions In The Head’ released on November 5th 2012. Recorded with Premen Underhill (Bloc Party, Klaxons) on production duties, the album’s eleven hard-hitting tracks highlight topics such as politics (‘You Know Something That I Don’t Know’), society (‘Loose Change’) and environmental issues (‘The Green Wash’), all set in place with a frenetic energy, sharp intelligence and jaw-dropping technical ability.

The singles ‘King Jesus’ and ‘You Know Something That I Don’t Know’ are available now from www.mypreserver.comand all good digital stores.

The new single ‘Terrorist’ will be released on October 22nd 2012 and My Preserver’s debut album 'Revolutions In The Head' will be released on November 5th 2012.
