Rage Against The Machine Secretly Recording New Album?

Thursday, 04 October 2012 Written by Elliott Batte

Californian funk metal icons Rage Against the Machine could secretly be working on a new album, according to reports coming from TMZ.

The band, that formed after a seven year break in 2007, have been performing at festivals and gigs across the world for the past five years, but have yet to put out any new material. But, it looks like that may be about to changed, after bassist Tim Commerford hinted that a new record could be on the way.

While the actual quotes from the interview (which you can see in the video below) aren’t the best - Commerford simply says ‘maybe, maybe’ when asked about a new album - the manner in which he replied did suggest that there may indeed be some activity in the Rage Against the Machine studio.

Interestingly, Commerford also added that his new ‘thing’ was removing teeth (yes, for fun) - and showed off his freshly missing gnasher.
