Il Divo Confirm More 2013 European Dates With Katherine Jenkins

Multinational operatic pop group Il Divo have confirmed some brand new European tour dates as part of their ‘Il Divo & Katherine Jenkins’ tour, which sees them paired up with the Welsh classical-crossover star for the first time.
The announcement came via Il Divo’s website earlier today, and will now see them performing gigs in Denmark, Netherlands, and Belgium as well as their six already-confirmed Germany dates. The group also confirmed two ‘Greatest Hits’ shows in Finland, though they will not be joined by Katherine Jenkins at them.
They wrote: “Following last week’s news of their dates in Germany with Katherine Jenkins, Il Divo have just announced a full European tour. Dates in Belgium, Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands have been confirmed today, and there are more to come! The first three announced today are part of the Il Divo & Katherine Jenkins tour, which will see Il Divo paired with the phenomenal mezzo soprano for the very first time. The guys’ two shows in Finland will be Greatest Hits performances, without Katherine.
“Speaking about the opportunity to tour with Katherine, Seb says ‘We’ve long been friends with Katherine, and as we looked to stage a tour around our Greatest Hits release, we thought what better way to approach it than to offer our fans the ultimate evening of classical crossover music by inviting Katherine to perform and also join us on some brand new duets. We hope we can make some wonderful music together!’”
