Birds Vs. Planes Unveil 'Relative Worth' - Listen Now

Carlisle quintet Birds vs. Planes have unveiled their brand new track ‘Relative Worth’, ahead of the release of brand new EP ‘Narrow Angles’.

Birds vs. Planes are on a mission of intent this winter, with their debut EP release ‘Narrow Angles’ due out in late January 2013. The first offering from this 5-track soundscape will be the single ‘Relative Worth’, which hits shelves on December 17th - you can check it out below now.

The band's ability to combine lyrical melody with an angular jangle provides a worthy juxtaposition that's won over some of the greatest tastemakers in the world of music. The indie rockers stormed MTV's competition ‘Get Seen Get Heard’ back in 2008 and since then, the band have received key support from BBC's Introducing team throughout 2011, including an invitation to the introducing stage at Radio One’s ‘Big Weekend’ that annually hosts some of the world’s hottest acts.

This year, continuing their upwards rise, Birds vs. Planes supported some of the country’s legendary outfits, The Cure & New Order, at the Heineken Jammin Festival in Milan. The band’s accolades have not gone unnoticed by their musical peers since their start in 2006, with other key support slots to the likes of We Are Scientists, Ida Maria, Mystery Jets, Hot Club De Paris & Late of the Pier.
