Darkstar Première 'Amplified Ease' Video - Watch Now

Ahead of the release of ‘News From Nowhere’ on 4th February, Darkstar can now première their first full music video, for the single ‘Amplified Ease’. The video, which was filmed at the legendary Pinewood Studios and in a tank previously used on the film 'Skyfall’, features the band underwater with startlingly beautiful results.
'Amplified Ease' has already received a great reception. The song has gained 6 Music plays including Lauren Laverne and Tom Ravenscroft. Dummy summed the track up perfectly: “water-soaked rhythms and undulating sub-bass. The group have shared that they wanted the track’s melody to bypass verse/chorus arrangement to create something mantra-like: and the de-constructed pop hooks of Amplified Ease live up to that aim."

As well as a full European tour, the band also today announce a very special Rough Trade instore, at London's Rough Trade East, Thursday January 31st at 7pm. Entry is free - just turn up. No purchase or wristband required.
Not only will it be the first chance to hear new tracks live ahead of the band's European tour, it's also the only chance to pick up the new album early - which will be on sale, with a bonus mix CD included, for the duration of the instore only.
