Black Flag Reform For Hevy Fest 2013

Greg Ginn’s punk icons Black Flag, fronted by Ron Reyes and not Henry Rollins, return to the UK for the first time in almost 30 years and the only live date the band will play in 2013.

The Hevy Fest website reveals: "Celebrating our fifth year this summer, we have been working on some very special appearances for 2013 to mark the occasion."

Since their formation back in 1976, Black Flag redefined what it is to be a punk band. Having provided the foundations for a whole generation of musicians and bands, Black Flag are perhaps one of the most influential punk bands ever.

Hevy Fest 2013 takes place between August 2nd-4th at the Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in Kent. Organisers are set to announce a further 80 more bands in the coming months.
