Initial Line-Up Announced For Live At Leeds 2013

Shortlisted for ‘Best Metropolitan Festival’ for the second year running, the initial line-up for Live At Leeds 2013 has been announced.

Once again taking part over the Early May Bank Holiday, 3rd May till 6th May and hosting over a hundred bands, The Unconference and the now annual Football tournament. This year’s line-up features two Brit nominees and five of the BBC Sound of 2013 shortlist, celebrating the best in up and coming music alongside established bands. Expect over a hundred bands over twelve stages in venue across Leeds City Centre from the serene surroundings of Holy Trinity Church to the 2300 capacity O2 Academy Leeds.

Taking the stage this year are The Pigeon Detectives having just announced a new album, Rudimental, bringing their chart topping hits to Leeds. Everything Everything on the back of their Top 5 new album. Darwin Deez is also returning with the follow up to his self-titled album, 'Songs for Imaginative People' out in February. King Krule, Tribes, The Staves, AlunaGeorge, Peace, Laura Mvula, The 1975, Swim Deep lead the strong list. A full list of bands can be found below.

The Vaccines will be playing a separate ticketed event on the Sunday of Live at Leeds with special support from TOY and more names to be added.
