Chubby Checker To Sue Makers Of 'The Chubby Checker' Penis Measurement App

American singer-songwriter Chubby Checker, the man who single-handedly pioneered the twist dance style, is reportedly very unhappy with a rather X-rated mobile phone app that guesses the size of a man’s penis - because they’ve called it ‘The Chubby Checker’!

The app was only downloaded 84 times and is now unavailable, but despite how hilarious the story is, Checker and his lawyers are taking it very seriously and are attempting to sue the app’s creators - Palm Inc - for their use of his name, as it’s caused ‘irreparable damage and harm’ to him.

AV Club reports that his lawyer Willie (don’t laugh!) Gary said of the case: “This lawsuit is about preserving the integrity and legacy of a man who has spent years working hard at his musical craft and has earned the position of one of the greatest musical entertainers of all time.”

The app was created so potential partners could guesstimate a male’s penis using the test subject’s shoe size - and even offered results in both a metric and imperial measurement. Convenient.

The app, however, failed to take off, and was removed after less than 100 downloads - and the future doesn’t look bright, as Checker is hoping he’ll be able to get some kind of compensation. What do you think of the story? Let us know in the comment section below.
