Hadouken!’s brand new single ‘Levitate’ is released today following a staggering 36million views across the web from their viral video ‘People Are Awesome 2013’ in four weeks.
The band have released a brand new official video today to celebrate the release of this track that has graced dance charts all over the world. It’s the lead track from their much anticipated third album ‘Every Weekend’ released next Monday 18th March. Check out Stereoboard' review here.
This single has made a huge impact on charts worldwide in the last month. Starting with a Top 5 entry in the US iTunes Chart, ‘Levitate’ then entered the top 20 of the US Billboard Chart, and then the Top Ten iTunes Charts in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Australia and New Zealand as well as charting in over 40 iTunes Charts around the world.
Hadouken!’s front man James Smith is getting ready for three shows in Russia with the band next week to play in front of huge audiences and cannot wait to play ‘Levitate’ live: "It’s the headline tune on the album and one our favourites to play live. It’s really all about having that rush you get on the dance floor when you hear a perfect tune. We are so happy that so many people have heard it through the viral video; it’s been amazing to see millions of people getting into it."
The band have also unleashed Koven’s bass heavy remix this week for fans to download ahead of their album launch party with Banquet Records on March 20th.
