One Direction's Harry Styles Reportedly Taking Songwriting Lessons From Gary Barlow

One Direction star Harry Styles has been meeting up with Take That icon Gary Barlow for songwriting lessons, according to reports.
Having conquered the world in the past couple of years, One Direction are now known for being a platinum-selling and stadium-filling outfit with fans on all corners of the earth. But, one area they could potentially improve on is their songwriting (most of their songs are written or co-written by other songwriters) - and Styles seems to have that in mind.
“Gary has been over in New York working on music for a Broadway musical version of Finding Neverland. He heard Harry was in town and arranged to meet up. They had a great afternoon talking about Gary’s life in Take That as a young bloke and then more recently.
“Harry is an attentive guy and really listens. He likes keeping older company and soaks up as much advice as he can get. Gary talked him through his songwriting techniques and offered to write with him whenever they get the chance.”
