Show Me the Body are back with a new single, Dance In The USA.

Pounding and rhythmic with a prominent, bass-driven groove, the effervescent track marks the New York hardcore band's first new music since their 2022 album 'Trouble The Water' and arrives as they tease their fourth studio album.

It was co-produced by Klas Åhlund, best known for his work with Robyn and Ghost, and Kenneth Blume III (fka Kenny Beats), whose credits include Geese, Idles and Fcukers, who were introduced by the band for sessions last year at Blume's Southern California studio, Putnam Hill. Head below to view the song's accompanying video, directed by Jake Moore. Frontman Julian Cashwan Pratt said:

"'Dance In The USA’ is about how we implore style to survive in this reality. It’s how we embrace the struggle of ourselves, our family’s, and those around you. It’s the dance that we all do - how we hustle, the good and the bad things we do - just to get through it.”

Pratt has also launched a new interview series titled Alone Together, which features him in conversation with "a few of my best friends, creative peers and mentors about life, loss, family, community, art and praxis." The first two episodes, featuring Dracula O./Chi and Kasie Kirkland (aka Yung Mayne), are available on YouTube and Spotify

The trio will tour around the west coast of North America around their appearance at Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City next month, with support from Provoker, Ingrow, Clique, and Dry Socket. In the summer, they'll head to the UK and Europe for multiple festival slots, including Outbreak Fest in London, and dates supporting Deafheaven. Head here for details. Tickets are on sale now.

Since their last album, Show Me The Body have also released the two-part 'Corpus II' EP in 2024, and the 2023 live record, 'Live & Loose In The USA'. Most recently, they shared a cover of Beastie Boys' iconic single Sabotage and a re-recording of their early song, One Train, which originally appeared on their 2014 'Yellow Kidney' EP.
