Goldfrapp have unveiled a brand new video for their track Drew, the first single to be taken from their forthcoming album ‘Tales of Us’.
The short film, directed by Lisa Gunning, is the first preview of the electronic music duo’s latest and sixth studio album. You can check it out below. Gunning is putting together a stunning feature length to go with the film, with the Drew video acting as the first taste of what’s to come.
‘Tales of Us’ has been two years in the crafting and is Goldfrapp’s most cinematic and intimate recording so far. All the songs bar one are named in the first person, with a cast list of evocative character sketches. The contrary love affairs, suspense, hallucinations, fairy tales and modern folklores documented and the traces of redemption they find in song take the poetry of Goldfrapp’s music somewhere brand new.
